Secession petitions filed in 20 states | The Lookout - Yahoo! News
Secession petitions filed in 20 states | The Lookout - Yahoo! News: "In the wake of last week's presidential election, thousands of Americans have signed petitions seeking permission for their states to peacefully secede from the United States. The petitions were filed on We the People, a government website.
States with citizens filing include Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Oddly, folks from Georgia have filed twice. Even stranger, several of the petitions come from states that went for President Barack Obama."

Pennsylvania White Bigfoot
Most people that know me know of my intense interest in all things paranormal. Since I remain very skeptical, it takes quite a bit to pique my interest. This video was one that caught my eye. I don't share the view of the poster of this video that it represents conclusive evidence; I do see some interesting aspects to the video. Of course it can be a hoax, but I did find it intriguing enough to share. Post your thoughts in response.

Perigee "Super Moon" On May 5-6 - NASA Science
Perigee "Super Moon" On May 5-6 - NASA Science: "May 2, 2012: The full Moon has a reputation for trouble.
It raises high tides, it makes dogs howl, it wakes you up in the middle of the night with beams of moonlight stealing through the drapes.
If a moonbeam wakes you up on the night of May 5th, 2012, you might want to get out of bed and take a look1. This May’s full Moon is a "super Moon,” as much as 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full Moons of 2012."
